The Pacifica Seal Lions swam very well at the SOLO Aquatics Club meet held at Oceana High School on January 13th & 14th. The team was well represented with 20 swimmer competing in 71 individual events with a success rate of 59%. A large number of swimmers excelled at the meet. Coaches Peter Song and Mary Germano have been working relentlessly to improve the participation and the result of our swimmers at the monthly swim meets. Sonia Martin had the sea lion mascot for her work at the South San Francisco meet this past December, but the honor of the sea lion of the meet went to Michelle Simpson who improved her times in all six events she was entered into. Way to lead the team Michelle!
